Epraylove
Born in raised in the great state of Michigan, epray during his early teen years was lost, unhinged, and for the most part rebellious which got him into numerous incidents. He was more influenced by the world around him rather than trying to find himself and utilize the gifts God gave him. From a young age music has always been a large part of his life, being exposed to all types of different gospel artists from his father. Then during his middle and high school years, he would be start to branch out and listen to more Alternative Hip Hop, Rap, and Alternative Rock.
Some of the artists from that time who influence his musical style today would be people like Juice Wrld, Lil Uzi Vert, XXXTentacion, and Yeat. In November of the year 2019, epray would record his first song ever on an IPhone 6s in the back of his friend’s Jeep. From that point on he realized that music was the way he could unveil his true identity.
Only a couple months later, his cousin ReidRZL who also started making music around the same time invested in a home studio setup. On that setup he would record and release his first EP “Make It Come To Life” which would consist of only 6 songs. This project would be taken down eventually and Reid and epray would go on to release their collab tape “Something Greater” in September of 2021. After that project epray would go into the process of finding his true sound through experimenting with different genres and recording techniques. He then went on to start creating his first official solo album “Patience And Peace” which will be released In December of 2022. For epray, music is a way to express himself, a way to cope, and an outlet for his emotions.
